Fred-Report:

Fred startet his trip on the MV Discovery on September 6th in Harwich and enjoyed his journey in the Mediterranean and in the Black Sea.

Fred Has been to many ports since Harwich but came ashore with Anja and me for the First time in Hvar, Croatia.

Fred is very safety conscious so he even wore his safety helmet on the tender boat ride across to shoreside.

As Anja, I and Fred were very thirsty we stopped and had some cocktails at a nearby café.

Then we decided to climb the many steps up to the castle. Once we reached the top we saw some spectacular Views, and decided that Hvar was our new Favorite Place. After all that exercise it was time for some lunch in a lovely decorated Resturant located on a roof top in Hvar. We all had a delicious seafood lunch. Sadly time was running out so it was time to head back to the ship and go back to work.

A couple of weeks later Fred went out again, this time in Santorini. Fred joined our group of friends consisting of Nette, Anja, Aacis, Ricky and I.

Aacis was kind enough to let Fred ride on his donkey with him all the way to the top of the hill. Then Fred took a Bus with us to the Other side of the Island were we had fun on the Black sand beaches.

The weather was Great but the water was still a little too cold to go for a swim. We all decided to have lunch at a beach side café before returning to the ship. (Fred had his first Ice Beer).

Fred's last trip with us (And most recent)was in Valletta, Malta. David and I took Fred on a sightseeing tour by pure coincidence, we wanted to get to the city centre but missed the sign and so ended up on the scenic route. But it was worthwhile as we saw the Historic gates to the City of Malta and we also saw a war memorial at the top of the hill. Next it was time for some shopping. We walked into many shops but nothing suited our or Fred's taste. Then we spotted some friends at a nearby café, and joined them for lunch and a Milkshake. Fred had a great day ashore in Malta with Grant, Anja, David and Myself. ( There are some pics of Fred in Malta which I will send to you soon. There is also a Picture of Fred and me with the Discovery.)

So those are the adventures of Fred, lots of good Friends, laughter, sunshine and good Food!

Fred was handed over to our port agent in Malta and I requested that he be handed over to MSC Splendida, as I have a friend on that ship. I will notified my Friend of Fred's arrival and will ask her to keep you updated.

I hope this email finds you well and that Fred will have many more great adventures.
