| Fred-Report: Hi, today I am writing the last time from Gaschem Adriatic. I stayed more than four months on board and now it is time to move on! Where? You will see soon! I leave the ship in Merak, Indonesia and then… who knows where I go! Actually I gave you a little quiz when I wrote the last time! Did you find out what it is? No? Hm, it was also hard for me, but I got it! Ok, I will share it with you: it is a spare propeller blade for the ship! The Gaschem Adriatic has not a fixed propeller were the propeller is made of one piece – instead a so called pitch propeller is mounted which has 4 blades! And the one on deck is just a spare one! Well, time to go to bed and enjoying the last night on board before I move down the gangway! Will miss the movement and engine sound in the backround! Bye for now Fred | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
