| Fred-Report:
Greetings from New York!
I was to fly home to California on Friday night, but with the storm brewing in New York (NY) on Thursday night, all flights in and out of NY and surrounding states were cancelled (approx. 4,000+ flights). The airlines automatically booked me for Sunday, as the weather should be better by then. And so, I'm enjoying being a local and plowing my way through feet of snow!
With regards to Fred, he's had an incredible time in NY! He visited SCI's headquarters in NY and then at SCI's International Seafarers' Center in Port Newark, New Jersey.
Fred met so many people and they truly enjoyed meeting him. They were excited about your project and look forward to learning more about his adventures. I am quite sure that he now has many, many new fans!
I had become quite attached to Fred and will really miss being his Foster mom (sob, sob) -- maybe he will show up again at SCI-Bay Area's Int'l Maritime Center in the future!
Best of luck and we all wish Fred smooth sailing, fair winds, calm seas, and safe travels in his journey!
Warm regards,
Adrienne
