After a wonderful day at Liefdefjorden we headed out to take a look at Moffen Island.
After dinner everybody bundled up again and went out on deck to see the Walrus which were hauled out on the beach of Moffen. The island and the close area around it are specially protected, so we were not able to get out on our Zodiacs or set foot on land. I went to the upper part of the ship and got a fantastic view of the Walrus! Not only did I get a good look at the animals on shore and in the water, but I could also hear them pretty well.
