My lobster-fishing adventure, 2-4 October 2015



I met Keith at the Pilot station at Brofjorden in Sweden. I was offered to go on a weekend trip with Keith and his wife Ewa to their summerhouse at the island Stora Kornö. We were going lobster-fishing with their small fishingboat “Pysen”. It was a journey I couldn’t resist.





First we went to Lysekils Police station where Ewa is working. I met the superintendent Anders Bylin who gave me a souvenir with the Swedish police logo.





Finally, early on Saturday morning we went out with the boat Pysen. The sun was shining and the sea was blue, a perfect day. A couple of days ago Keith and Ewa had put lobster-cages prepared with salted Makril on approx. 20 meters depth. I was so excited.

During my weekend I have also been eating lobster, talking with other fishermen in the port and been to a birthday party. Now I’m waiting to go with Keith to work at the Pilot station and find a nice person who wants to take me out for the next adventure.
