Hallo!

After a few cold days in Bremerhaven we finally see the sun! It’s such a perfect day!

Welcome to the famous “Technikmuseum U-Boot WILHELM BAUER”

Woohoo!!! My Meercat skills comes pretty handy, I’m pretty good at climbing!
Quick facts:

The entrance to the museum is located at the far end of the submarine. And guess what?... This is the TORPEDO ROOM! Now that’s a stunning first impression!

Isn’t it cool to be in the TORPEDO HEAD and BODY?! Good thing it’s not active or I will be blown to pieces! Lol!

After taking my “Torpedo shoot” we head straight to buy some tickets. I asked the ticket lady if pets are allowed inside the museum, she answered “NEIN”!. Good thing that I’m a stuffed animal otherwise I wouldn’t be allowed inside.

After donating some change, the lady offered some souvenir items. As you can see she’s trying very hard to sell the souvenir items inside. She’s very persistent and even wants to sell a human hat.. To a Meercat?.. I don’t think it’ll fit me.

Moving along, here you can see my miniature submarine.

And more pictures inside the sub.

And here you can see the “Commander’s Chamber”.

The Galley and officers messe.

This is the most important part of the ship. The Main controll room!

You can see the outside if you look through here.

This is a very good painting of the submarine.

As we find our way to the exit I saw this sign. I guess google has a different translation for this. Lol!

To wrap the day, here are two of the friendliest person onboard. Cecilia the Nurse and Joie the Receptionist. They are my travel buddies and professional photographer.

That’s about it for today! I wish to send more pictures soon.

Next stop Norway!

Med vennlig hilsen/

Best regards

FRED
