Fred was handed me over from Captain Kruess of the MV "National Geographic Explorer" at the 22th september 2011 during the transit in the "Kiel-Canal" when I was the pilot in the Western part of the canal.



Listening all the stories and adventures of this little seaman about his education to an excellent Zodiak commander and scubadiver on board of the "N.G.E." make the transit time very short.



It was a big honour for me to meet him and bring him to the Elbepilotstation in Brunsbüttel for some personel recreation before he will start to his next trip to Asia.
