Back in Longyearbyen!
Today I went to see Therese at her office. She had a lot of mail for us; even two small parcels made it to the ship. I believe that made the recipients very happy! The Hotel Manager Henrik and Provision Master Chris invited me to a burger lunch today. Those things were really tasty!
Henrik and Chris had to return to the ship after lunch. They were expecting some fresh provisions, which were scheduled to arrive with the charter plane during the early afternoon hours. I took a detour through town on my way back to the ship. It was nice to be back in a familiar place. But meanwhile all passengers have embarked and we are under way again – slowly but surely heading for Russia. :-) Yippie!
