| Fred-Report:
Today I hardly had time to rest and relax on the Hanse Explorer.... there was so much to see and to do.
But let us start in the morning - the sun was shining straight into my face and it was so quiet on board that I got up early in the morning and looked around to see where we were.
To find that out I went up to the Bridge where I will certainly find someone who can tell me that. There was the trio of Captain Maggi, Pilot Per and Chief Mate Jens who were all very busy with the approach to our anchorage at the small river mouth of a place called Hellmobottn.
This is at the very end of Tysfjorden which is approximately 35 Nautical Miles long.
It is so peaceful and silent here, the fishes are feeding on the surface and a few Norwegian summer houses were located at the small river mouth. Brandon, our Expedition Leader, took me on a short hike to a huge hidden waterfall - and here in Hellmobottn we are at the closest distance to the Swedish Border Line which is only a few walking hours away. We won't go so far today as we do not have enough time but even the short hike is beautiful.
Then we cruised out of the fjord during lunch before making a spontaneous stop to go fishing at the entrance to the fjord. Out on the flat calm fjord for a couple of hours we caught many fish, mostly cod, which Chef Jerome will prepare for lunch tomorrow.
